Internship

Autism From the Start

One of my key experiences was my internship at Autism From the Start. They are a small company that provides developmental services for young kids with autism before they go into elementary school. I led projects based on research and industry trends to enhance the company’s website. These ultimately improved traffic and retention rates. I also managed all social media and digital content for business. Using Google Analytics, I centralized data to inform strategic decisions and implemented these strategies in website optimizations and Google Ads campaigns.

Below is video I created arguing the company's strenghts over competitors to persuade insurance providers to change certain rates.
There are also some screenshots of the website I completely redesigned, as well as some data showcasing how website traffic and engagement was improved during my time there.

It's also best to view the website itself to get the full picture!

Overview

The data shown is from the squarespace website analytics page. The data I've highlighted shows an increase of over 35% of website visits from when I started compared to the previous year. You can also see that the implementation of Keywords resulted in hundreds of added clicks per month impacting over 100% improvement on keywords.

The entire website was redesigned to engage visitors, inviting them to click around and explore the different aspects the website has to offer. We emphasized flow and uniformity so that visitors can easily navigate and find the information they need.

I had also organized the social media schedule, content, and style so that after I had left, they could create meaningful posts on social media that conformed to the brand image and message.

The style, colors, videos, and images are very important to convey the brand’s ethics and mission. For AFTS, a lot of thought goes into the design and tone of the message that conveys their unique value of being an ethical autism care provider.
